"The Prosecutor's office concluded the investigation relating to the absence of declaration, for fiscal affects, of amounts received by Luiz Felipe Scolari, for image rights," Xinhua quoted the Central Department for Penal Action as saying in a statement on Wednesday, adding that Scolari had been accused of fiscal fraud.
Scolari, who was Portugal's coach from 2003 to 2007, was held defendant in 2014 for an initial debt of 635 euros, which rose to 3 million euros due to interest rates and a fine. Last year, he claimed he paid taxes in every country he'd worked in and denied any wrongdoing.
