London: 19-year old Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore has received his work permit one and a half years after being bought by the club and will be given a chance to earn a first team place.

The forward had signed a four-and-a-half year contract with the Premier League champions in 2013 but was unable to secure the necessary paperwork and spent the entire last season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem in Netherlands.

Traore showcased his talent as a 14-year-old at the Under-17 World Cup in 2009 while he was still being developed by the French club Auxerre, the Guardian reported.

Chelsea will include Traore in the squad which would be travelling to the US on July15 for games against New York Red Bulls, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.

The loan arrival of Radamel Falcao will, however, be confirmed by the club after the Copa America.
