After winning the toss, Gujarat Titans elected to bowl first. Captain Sanju Samson and in-form batsman Riyan Parag played stunning knocks to help Rajasthan reach a respectable total of 196 runs. Samson scored an unbeaten 68 runs and Parag on the other hand, scored 76 runs in 48 deliveries

Rashid Khan was the least run-conceded bowler from the visitor`s side. In his four overs, Khan conceded just 18 runs and also dismissed RR opener Jos Buttler

Having to chase 197 runs, GT openers Sai Sudharsan and captain Shubman Gill put on a prolific show with the bat. Sai smashed 35 runs and Gill played a match-winning knock of 72 runs before getting dismissed in Yuzvendra Chahal`s over

After their dismissals, RR pacer Kuldeep Sen bamboozled GT`s batting lineup. He registered three wickets for 41 runs in four overs

Despite leaving the hopes of winning the match, Rashid Khan came out of the syllabus for Rajasthan. Rashid`s 24-run knock which included 4 fours helped the visitors defeat RR by three wickets. He also received the "Player of the Match" award for his spectacular all-round display
