In the WPL 2026 match against the Gujarat Giants (GG), Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper Jemimah Rodrigues won the toss and elected to bowl first at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium in Kotambi.

After winning the toss, Delhi Capitals` captain Rodrigues said that, considering that the dew has not come in, the batting will be easier in the second innings at the venue. She also feels that the pitch is suitable for batswomen.
