T20 World Cup 2026: Josh Tongue included in England's squad for marquee event

Along with the squad for the global tournament, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has also named the team for the white-ball series against Sri Lanka, which is scheduled to be played in January-February

Ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026, England have announced their 15-member squad, which also comprises the likes of pacer Josh Tongue. The 28-year-old pacer is yet to make his first appearance for England in One-Day Internationals (ODIs) or T20 Internationals (T20Is).

So far, he has played eight Test matches for the side and has picked up 43 wickets.
