T20 World Cup 2026, which is set to kick off from Saturday, February 7, will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Team India is placed in Group A of the tournament along with Namibia, the Netherlands, Pakistan, and the United States of America (USA)

Ahead of T20 World Cup 2026, Team India`s Harshit Rana has been ruled out of the tournament, sources told news agency ANI. The pacer sustained an injury during the warm-up match against South Africa.
Team India skipper Suryakumar Yadav, during the pre-match press conference, said that Rana was "not looking good" after the warm-up game, and physios are having a look at his injury.
