In the T20 World Cup 2026 match against Ireland, Australia emerged victorious by 67 runs at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
In an attempt to chase a target of 183 runs, Ireland was bowled out for 115 runs in 16.5 overs. Opening the innings, skipper Paul Stirling retired out after scoring one run in one ball. Fellow opening batsman Ross Adair scored 12 runs in nine balls, including a boundary and a maximum.
