A good investment at the right time is now paying dividends for Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA). Around 10 years ago, under the guidance of former India batsman Amay Khurasiya, the MPCA cricket academy started grooming teenagers like Rajat Patidar apart from Avesh Khan, Venkatesh Iyer and Kuldeep Sen.

Patidar, 28, announced his arrival with a 112 not out, which helped Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) outclass Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Eliminator on Wednesday.
