MI New York appoint Nicholas Pooran as skipper post international retirement

Nicholas Pooran's services were earlier acquired by Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2017. The left-hander did not get a game, and it was the only season he was associated with the franchise. In his debut season in MLC with the franchise, he made 388 runs in eight matches for the team at an average of 64.66, with a strike rate of 167.24

Former West Indies batsman Nicholas Pooran, who recently announced his retirement from international cricket, has now been appointed as the skipper of MI New York in the Major League Cricket (MLC).
