The mood is upbeat in the Mumbai Indians bowlers’ camp after setting up a dominant seven-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in their own backyard at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here on Wednesday.
MI’s New Zealand left-arm pacer Trent Boult (4-26) perfectly complemented Deepak Chahar (2-12) as they dismantled SRH’s feared top order, restricting them to just 143-8 in 20 overs. Thereafter, MI opener Rohit Sharma (46-ball 70) and middle-order big-hitter Suryakumar Yadav (40 not out) wrapped it up for MI in style.
