Star Indian batter KL Rahul continued his rich vein of form in Tests in 2025 as he smashed his 11th Test hundred on Day 2 of the ongoing Test match against West Indies in Ahmedabad on Friday, October 5. This was Rahul's first Test hundred in home conditions since 2016, when he last scored one against England in Chennai. 

India had bundled out West Indies for just 162 in the first innings, and the onus was on KL Rahul to ensure that he bats long and drives home India's advantage. That is exactly what he did as Rahul smashed 100 runs in 197 balls in an innings that included 12 boundaries. He ensured that India took a first innings lead without major scares and further stressed their dominance in the game.
