Ahead of the first T20I match of the five-match series between Team India and South Africa, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) secretary Sanjay Behera, offered the first ticket to Lord Jagannath in Puri.

"Ahead of the India vs South Africa T20I on 9th December 2025, OCA Secretary Shri Sanjay Behera offered the first match ticket at the divine feet of Lord Jagannath in Puri, seeking blessings for a successful game at Barabati Stadium. Shri Rabi Shankar Pratihari, Secretary of the Puri District Athletic Association and Shri Santosh Das, Member, OCA were also present on this special occasion," read the OCA`s post.
