India star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja expressed his desire to captain the national team in Test cricket, adding that he has gained valuable tactical insights under different captains over the years.
"Yes, definitely! Over the years, I have played under different captains. I know the mindset of every single captain whom I have played under and I also understand what players need and their mindset," said Jadeja on former teammate Ravichandran Ashwin's YouTube channel.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently announced Shubman Gill as their new Test captain. Under his captaincy, Team India will clash against England for a five-match Test series, which is set to start from June 20 onwards.
