Tensions between India and England continue to rise as the third Test at Lord’s edges towards a dramatic finish. With emotions already running high following previous altercations, the final day saw yet another heated moment, this time involving Ravindra Jadeja and England pacer Brydon Carse.
The spark was ignited at the end of the 35th over of India’s innings when Jadeja, visibly frustrated, advanced towards Carse in an aggressive manner. The confrontation stemmed from Carse’s repeated tendency to obstruct the batters during their runs. On the final ball of that over, Carse once again appeared to step into the batters’ path, pushing Jadeja over the edge.
