The ICC World Cup 2023 match between Bangladesh and South Africa is underway in Mumbai`s Wankhede Stadium. Aiden Markram won the toss for South Africa and decided to bat first.

The Proteas lost the early wickets of Reeza Hendricks and Rassie van der Dussen in the first powerplay. Bangladesh bowlers didn`t allow any South African batter to settle which made the situation difficult for them in the beginning.
