DY Patil SA, KRP XI CC clinch MCA Women’s cricket titles

DY Patil Sports Association and KRP XI Cricket Club emerged champions, winning the Group A and Group B finals respectively of the MCA Women’s knockout cricket tournament at the SRT Gymkhana ground, Kandivli, on Tuesday.

DY Patil and KRP XI CC have thus earned qualification to play in the ‘D’ Division of the MCA Women’s Cricket League from next season. In the Group A final, DY Patil SA beat Sporting Club’s Committee (Thane) by 13 runs, while KRP XI CC registered a convincing seven-wicket win over Crescent Cricket Club in the Group B final.
