Moeen Ali’s family know what the batsman-spinner is capable of, but they were surprised all the same back in the United Kingdom when India captain Virat Kohli was knocked over by England’s Moeen for a duck in Chennai on Saturday. This was Kohli’s 11th duck in Test cricket. 

“It was a fantastic wicket. I could not believe it,” off-spinner Moeen Ali’s father, Munir said over the telephone from Birmingham. Interestingly, no bowler has dismissed Kohli for zero twice, according to ace cricket statistician Mohandas Menon.
