Australia`s star pacer Pat Cummins said that his injury forced him to withdraw from the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026, and it was also driven by the desire to stay completely fit for the Test season, in which he wants to feature in all the matches.

Ahead of the upcoming shortest format global showpiece, Cummins was ruled out, as he failed to recover from the back injury. Ben Dwarshuis was named as his replacement.
