Gujarat Giants head coach Michael Klinger said his message to the team during the drinks break in their WPL clash against UP Warriorz was to go out and fight hard, a call that spurred them to a 45-run win at the BCA Stadium here and lifted them to second place on the points table.
Sophie Devine starred with an unbeaten 42-ball 50 to take GG to 153-8 on a slow pitch.
