The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday unveiled the 15-member Indian squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, with Shubman Gill making a comeback to the T20I setup as vice-captain. The announcement, delayed due to heavy rains in Mumbai disrupting flight schedules, followed a crucial selection meeting held at the BCCI headquarters.
The selection panel, headed by Chairman Ajit Agarkar, convened alongside T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav and BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia, finalising the squad ahead of the tournament, which will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from September 9 to 28.
