The Aussies leave no stone unturned when it comes to reminding players of their glorious past. An example of this is the decision of New South Wales cricket authorities to hang a piece of Bradman memorabilia in the home team dressing room at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

In December 1928, Bradman penned a small self-memo after his unsuccessful (18 and 1) Test debut against England at Brisbane.

He got dropped for the next Test at Sydney but earned a recall at Melbourne where he scored 78 and 112. It is not known how the memo landed at an auction in England but when former Australia pace bowler turned Cricket New South Wales chief executive Dave Gilbert found out, he urged the Bradman Foundation to buy it.

The framed note has now found a place at the SCG dressing room prominent enough to be noticed by batsmen walking out to bat.
