Shikhar Dhawan thanks fans for prayers as Ayesha's surgery is successful

India opener Shikhar Dhawan has not been a part of India's first three one-day internationals against Australia due to personal reasons.

He was released by BCCI to be with his ailing wife Ayesha. Two days ago, Dhawan posted this picture with her and wrote that she needs surgery in a few days time. Wishes poured in for her speedy recovery. On Saturday, he revealed that the surgery had been successful and his wife is recovering.
