Royal Challengers Bangalore will don a special green jersey in an effort to create awareness towards the environment during their clash against Kochi on Sunday. The first team to adopt the Go Green initiative last year, RCB's players will autograph their green outfits that will eventually be auctioned on the team's official website. In an effort to reduce the carbon footprint in the city, RCB plans to implement various environment friendly initiatives like encouraging car pooling for fans on match days, waste segregation at the stadium, effective disposal through recycling, and the use public transport. Planting more than 1000 trees in schools has also been an important RCB initiative.
