Ravi Sawant elected new BCCI treasurer

The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) here Monday elected Ravi Sawant as the new treasurer of the cricket board

"Ravi Sawant is the new treasurer replacing (Ajay) Shirke," a BCCI official told reporters here.

Shirke quit his post along with secretary Sanjay Jagdale May 31 in the wake of the IPL spot fixing scandal.
