Knights look to ride over Deccan and top the table

The in-form Kolkata Knight Riders will be keen to continue their winning streak as they take on the Deccan Chargers in their own backyard at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here tonight.

More importanlt, the win and its two points will help the Shah Rukh Khan-owned side to regain the top spot, given they are in second place with 10 points from eight matches.

KKR's powerful batting line-up that includes the likes of Gautam Gambhir (skipper), Jacques Kallis, Yusuf Pathan, Eoin Morgan and Manoj Tiway could just prove too hot for Deccan to handle. Besides, the Chargers will also have to face the pace of fiery Australian Brett Lee and India discard Lakshmipathy Balaji. The Chargers meanwhile will look to skipper Kumar Sangakkara and hero of their last match against the Chennai Super Kings, Sunny Sohal to deliver the goods once again.
