Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Monday announced Jerome Jayaratne as the interim head coach for the national team and will manage the side for the upcoming West Indies series starting in October

Jayaratne appointed Sri Lanka's interim cricket coach

Jayaratne replaces former Sri Lankan batsman Marvan Atapattu who resigned as the coach last Thursday, after losing to India 1-2 in a three-match home Test series.
