Over the past 15 years Rahul Dravid has mesmerized the cricket world with his sound technique and proper application and has been saluted by many for his consistency. It wasn't any different despite India's 0-4 drubbing against England.
Former England captain Nasser Hussain lauded The Wall for his gritty batting despite other Indian batsmen falling like nine pins in the four Test matches. Hussain was particularly impressed with his exceptional mental strength.
"It is one thing to score runs when everything is in the batsman's favour on flat pitches, but it is quite another to do it when everyone around you are losing their heads and failing," Hussain wrote in The Daily Mail. "For Dravid to stand up the way he has speaks volumes for his mental strength and character. Dravid has shown what it takes to be an international cricketer. He is up there with Tendulkar."
