Gilchrist unhappy with Mumbai Indians' tactics

Kings XI Punjab captain Adam Gilchrist yesterday questioned Mumbai Indians' sportsmanship after supposedly injured Ambati Rayudu donned the wicketkeeper's gloves when regular stumper Davy Jacobs was forced off the field with an injury.

This, after Rayudu himself was substituted in the third over after hurting himself while fielding. Rayudu came out to replace Jacobs in the 12th over. Gilchrist said at yesterday's post-match conference. "Ambati was off the field injured. (But) I found it extraordinary when Jacobs had to go off and suddenly Ambati is fit again.

There is no rule against it, but a question needs to be asked. If he were not fit, Rohit Sharma probably would have been the one to have taken the gloves. Two balls later, he (Sharma) takes a spectacular catch in the outfield".
