Anshuman Gaekwad, who served India as a Test player and coach, turned to his gun in a quest to attack thieves, who he thought were hiding in his compound at Sevasi Mahapura.

According to PTI, Gaekwad fired two rounds in the air, but the gang of looters fled with gold and diamond ornaments, a laptop and Rs 16,000 in cash.



Gaekwad is believed to have lost Rs three lakh worth of valuables.u00a0
