England batsman Ian Bell has broken into the top-five of the ICC Test rankings for the first time in his career while India's Rahul Dravid has moved four places to 10th following the conclusion of the four-match series between the two teams.
Dravid
As England claimed the title of number-one Test side in the world with a 4-0 series victory, several of its players have made their own moves up the players' ladder with Bell being the most notable.
As he has done so well of late, Dravid fought hard against the otherwise rampant England bowlers and while his 146 not out in the first innings was not enough to save the match for his team, it did move him four places up on the log for a position at number 10. Dravid scored three hundreds in the series. The news is not good for most of Dravid's teammates with Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Gautam Gambhir and Mahendra Singh Dhoni all losing ground.
