Difficult to replace Scholes: Ferguson

Alex Ferguson said yesterday that finding a long-term replacement for Paul Scholes is proving difficult for Manchester United.

Scholes two-decade long career at Old Trafford ended at the end of last season.

Man Utd have made three big signings in David de Gea, Phil Jones and Ashley Young recently but about a replacement for Scholes, Ferguson said: "We are having difficulty in finding someone to replace Scholes. It's a very difficult thing to do."u00a0
