United face Tottenham in the League Cup final at Wembley before they attempt to retain their Premier League and Champions League titles and win the FA Cup.
Rooney told Sun newspaper: "I hope the quadruple is possible. We have a great chance in the Carling (League) Cup, we're in a good position in the league, the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and have a good chance of reaching the same stage in the Champions League.
