According to official military data, at least 148 people have been killed across 43 separate strike operations in the Caribbean Sea and Eastern Pacific Ocean since September under the administration of Donald Trump. The latest strike, confirmed by US Southern Command, took place on February 20, 2026. Officials say the targeted vessel was moving along known narcotics trafficking corridors and was allegedly involved in active drug transport operations.
