Israeli strikes kill at least 30 in Gaza as war with Hamas continues

The 21-month war, triggered by Hamas’ attack on October 7, continues to rage, with no sign of a breakthrough following two days of talks last week between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip overnight and into Monday have killed at least 30 people, according to local hospitals.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military announced that it had killed a senior Hamas militant last month who had allegedly held a hostage in his home, reported AP.
