Netanyahu has been testifying twice a week since December, though many hearings have been shortened or canceled due to his illnesses, fatigue, or government responsibilities

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be required to testify three times a week in his corruption trial beginning in November, after the Jerusalem District Court rejected a request from his lawyers to maintain the current schedule. Judges ruled that hearings will now be held four times a week in total, citing the need to accelerate proceedings that have already stretched on for years.
"This is a huge case, and in many ways unprecedented, both in its scope and complexity," the judges wrote in their decision. "The proceedings have been going on for more than five years. We still have a long way to go. The defense is only at the beginning, and is progressing at a slow pace. Our duty to rule on the case requires a significant increase in the schedule of the hearings."
