The 45-year-old model draped herself over the rotund politician, making him turn puce with joy, reports the Daily Mail.
She later posted a picture of herself with the beaming diplomat who she met at the breast cancer awareness event, which was held in Susman's house.
However, she managed to get into a bit of a muddle with her spelling, adding an extra 'S' to his name.
"Me and the lovely US ambassador Susman. Raising awareness for Breast Cancer in his wonderful home," she wrote.
But it didn't look like the diplomat would be too bothered, as he beamed from ear to ear at Hurley's embrace.
The star has devoted herself to the cause of breast cancer awareness through her work with cosmetic company Estee Lauder, after she lost her maternal grandmother to the disease.
