After 10 weeks underground, Chile leader tells mom her son will be first out from the San Jose mine
Another sunset drew over Camp Hope, and as temperatures dropped the Avalos family huddled closer to the fire, savouring the heat while the wood and charcoal lasted. Sparks fizzed and died in the inky blackness.
Florencio Avalos will be the first worker to leave the site of the San Jos ufffd mine where he has been trapped for 69 days along with 32 other miners.
"The first miner to come out will be Avalos," President Pi ufffdera said in a press conference outside the mine in northern Chile.
Although there are three workers with the same last name, is expected that the first man to leave will be Florencio Avalos Silva (31).
He will be followed by Mario Sepulveda, (39), Juan Illanes, (51) and Carlos Mamani, a Bolivian national, (23), who is the only foreign miner among the 33 miners trapped.
It is expected that Bolivian President Evo Morales will arrive in Copiapo to greet his compatriot after being rescued from the mine.

It was also announced that the last man out will be Luis Urzua, the top head commanding the shift at the time of the accident.
Florencio Avalos, the trapped miner is married, has two children and he was the second head of the shift at the time the cave-in took place.
His brother, Ren n Avalos Silva, whom Florencio took to work with him at the mine three years ago, will be rescued at a later time.
US President Barack Obama alsou00a0 sent his best wishes for the safe rescue of the miners and said that he is proud that American experts had collaborated with the rescue operations in Chile.
