Gucci owner Kering sees net profit plunge, sales drop

French luxury group Kering reported a steep decline in 2025, with sales down 13 pc and net profit plunging 93.6 pc, largely due to weak performance at Gucci. CEO Luca de Meo said Kering will unveil a growth revival and restructuring plan on April 16 aimed at restoring momentum

French luxury group Kering reported Tuesday that its net profit sank in 2025, weighed down by its flagship brand Gucci. "The Group's 2025 performance does not reflect its true potential," said Kering CEO Luca de Meo in a statement, adding that the company will present a restructuring plan in April.

Sales dropped by 13 percent while net profit plunged by 93.6 percent, it said.
