Since I am in the midst of doing an Anurag Kashyap's film on gangsters, the world of crime is on my mind these days
I wonder how can a simple and ordinary person become a deadly criminal. Perhaps, it is because of the lack of love in their lives.
Sadly, this absence of love is evident everywhere in the world. We have been fighting for centuries over the issues of land, oil, water and power.
We may spend Rs 1000 on a dinner, but will haggle with a rickshaw driver over Rs 10.
I think criminal mentality is an extreme form of this same tendency!
