<p>Speaking on the outrage, Mayor Bhargava said, "If for any reason the image or tourism of Meghalaya or any other part of the North-East has been negatively affected, then I express my regret." He also praised the Meghalaya Police for solving the murder case within a few days and expressed his gratitude for their swift action</p>
