The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Thursday held the passing out parade (POP) of the seventh batch of head constables (sports) at its recruitment training centre (RTC) in Deoli, Rajasthan, marking the formal induction of 324 sportspersons recruited through the force’s largest-ever sports quota drive in 2025. <p>Dr Mandaviya encouraged the trainees to “keep playing” and contribute to India’s goal of becoming a top-10 sporting nation by 2036. He highlighted India’s bid to host the 2036 Olympic Games in Ahmedabad and the 2030 Commonwealth Games, and underlined the link between sports and security, noting that discipline, commitment, and resilience are vital to both fields.</p>
