A woman died while four others were injured in a collision between an e-rickshaw and a car on Friday morning, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Champa Devi (65), they said.

According to the police, the incident happened in Badsari village when Devi along with the four women were going to Ballia on the e-rickshaw for taking a dip in river Ganga on the occasion of Ekadashi.

The injured were rushed to Bansdih primary health centre, they said.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, they said.
