Two injured as AC compressor explodes during maintenance in Palghar

The incident took place around 3.40 pm at a firm located in the Boisar MIDC area, said Vivekanand Kadam, chief of the Palghar disaster management cell. Technicians Atiq Khan and Wasim Salmani were conducting annual servicing of the air-conditioning units when one of the compressors exploded due to excessive gas pressure

Two people were injured after an air-conditioner compressor exploded during maintenance work at a company in Maharashtra’s Palghar district on Tuesday, officials said.
According to the news agency PTI, the incident took place around 3.40 pm at a firm located in the Boisar MIDC area, said Vivekanand Kadam, chief of the Palghar disaster management cell.
