Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Friday said his government has deposited Rs 5,000 each to 1.31 crore women beneficiaries of a government’s women entitlement scheme, a move coming months ahead of the Assembly polls that led to the opposition parties flaying his move as “fear of defeat at the hustings.”
