The National Commission for Women, on Monday, claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar, accused of abusing AAP MP Swati Maliwal, was called at CM residence after Maliwal had reached there. The women's commission has sought to know why Kumar was called to CM residence and at whose direction. 

The NCW isssued a press notes which emphasized that this update follows its earlier communication dated May 13, 2024, where it took suo moto cognizance of a media post titled "DCW Chief Swati Maliwal accuses Arvind Kejriwal's personal secretary of assaulting her."
