Padma Awards 2026: Dharmendra, Uday Kotak, Harmanpreet Kaur among 131 honourees

The President of India on Sunday approved the conferment of 131 Padma Awards 2026 Among the notable awardees are veteran actor Dharmendra industrialist Uday Kotak former tennis star Vijay Amritraj and cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur who have been honoured for their outstanding achievements and serviceThe awards will be presented at ceremonial functions held at Rashtrapati Bhawan laterThe awards one of the countryrsquos highest civilian honours will be conferred by the PresidentThe Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday announced that the President of India has approved 131 Padma Awards for 2026 one of the countryrsquos highest civilian honoursThe awards will be conferred in three categories Padma Vibhushan Padma Bhushan and Padma Shrirecognising distinguished service across a wide range of fields such as art social work public affairs science and engineering trade and industry medicine literature and education sports and civil serviceThe awards are traditionally announced on Republic Day and
