Rahul Gandhi is set to launch a Congress Working Committee (CWC)- approved campaign aimed at rebuilding the party's image in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled Madhya Pradesh. The launch will take place in Bhopal on Tuesday, where he will address a brainstorming session to prepare the party for the 2028 assembly polls. An announcement in this regard was made during the inauguration of the ‘Sangathan Srajan Abhiyan’ (Organisation Rejuvenation Campaign) during the extended meeting that was organised in Belagavi in December 2024.
"The 'Abhiyan' is being launched to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and instill enthusiasm among party workers. We have not been in power in Madhya Pradesh for a long time," former MP Congress chief Arun Yadav and ex-minister Sajjan Verma told reporters on Monday.
Yadav assured that 'Mission 2028' aims to bring Congress to power in Madhya Pradesh, by winning the upcoming assembly elections, reported PTI.
