PM Modi's Sonipat visit on October 17 likely to be cancelled as per sources

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Sonipat on 17 October, on the occasion of the completion of one year of the BJP-led Haryana government, is likely to be cancelled, according to sources. PM Modi was scheduled to attend the event at Rai Education City in Sonipat and present new development initiatives for the state.

Meanwhile, a day earlier, Saini inspected the programme site and provided directions to Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan regarding the main stage and other arrangements prior to the PM's visit. Thereafter, he held a meeting with officials and instructed them to complete all arrangements for the programme within the stipulated time. Interacting with the media, he said that the BJP has formed the government in Haryana for the third time.
