Prime Minister Narendra Modi, taking a hint from his own nationwide podcast ‘Mann ki Batt’, has written the foreword for the Indian edition. He has written the foreword for Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s autobiography, I am Giorgia—My Roots, My Principles (Rupa Publications), describing it as “her Mann Ki Baat”.The book is already a bestseller in Europe and will be available in India soon.

While stating that his foreword for the book is an expression of respect, friendship and admiration. Calling it an honour to write the foreword for Giorgia Meloni’s book, the PM marked that it is a “great honour” to contribute to the volume. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also praised Meloni and said that the Italian prime minister is a “patriot and an outstanding contemporary leader.”
