The Transport Department denied fuel to nearly 2800 vehicles without valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates on the first day of ‘No PUC, No Fuel’ enforcement drive in the national capital, officials said on Friday.
Three enforcement teams have been deployed by the department and are conducting checks at petrol pumps along with police personnel at key locations to ensure strict compliance with emission norms, they said.
